Harmonization 21

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is funding phase 2 of the NIBSS - NIMC data conversion, migration and harmonization project: a project which seeks to continue the merger of the textual and biometric databases of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS), two of Nigeria's and Africa's largest and most reliable databases.

This is a milestone project because, through the merger, the existing single source of identity truth for the country is being enlarged.
